HISTORY

The Mercat Gòtic start their business by the year 1978 in front of the cathedral in Barcelona, recovering the site of an ancient traditional market of the city. The Mercat Gòtic was created with the intention of bringing antiques and collectibles objects to the general public.
		Since then many customers who come every Thursday to buy interesting objects In these 30 years have been many people who have learned to appreciate the objects that have been discovered and their cultural interest through the recovery effort being made by traders in our market.
Of the 28 existing stops selling many are specializing in clocks, estilográficas owner, books ... And the rest offers a wide range of objects of different types, dolls, porcelain, cameras, siphons, posters, objects of silver, religious pictures, fans, postcards, clothing ... In front of such variety is not difficult to find what one seeks. The prices of the items are very diverse, from the simple and inexpensive to more exclusive. At Mercat Gòtic we can find every Thursday and also during special exhibitions (Sant Jordi, Mercè, Reyes ...) that are organized throughout the year in front of the cathedral and in the Puerta del Angel. At this site you will find the calendar of trade fairs.
